Info on the background of this vessel has been almost impossible to track down, however, on a recent trip to Eyemouth when this photo was
taken I had a chat with a local man. He had been skipper of the fishing boat Tranquility, no idea of the reg. and had a family connection with the
Eyemouth boat Guide Us. He said that the Admiral
Collingwood had been taken over by the navy in WWII, possibly in relation to mines I think, the
hull under the waterline had been covered with copper sheeting, not sure for what purpose.
Unfortunately this is the limit to the info I have at the moment.
